ABOUT US
Welcome to Music Therapy Hub: Where Music Is For Everyone
At Music Therapy Hub, we believe in the universal language of music.

Registered music therapists skilfully use music to promote holistic health, offering a pathway to relief, recovery, and rejuvenation. Music is not merely sound; we leverage the unique qualities of music to promote emotional well-being, alleviate stress and anxiety, facilitate rehabilitation, and reduce the perception of pain.

Music is an anchor to memories; a soundtrack to our lives. Each melody holds within it a tapestry of emotions, experiences, and moments. At Music Therapy Hub, we honour this by creating a safe environment where music becomes a conduit for therapy and healing. Through personalised sessions, we support individuals to unlock their inner balance and bring forth what is needed for their well-being.
Located in the heart of Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs, Music Therapy Hub stands as an allied health provider of music therapy, proudly serving our community. We recognise that music and sound are key components of well-being, offering an optimised pathway to a healthier, more vibrant life.
Join us at Music Therapy Hub, where music is for everyone. Let us be a part of your journey, using melodies that resonate with you to craft a personalised path to healing, connection, and empowerment.
About the Founder
"Music speaks to the soul in a way words cannot. It's a thread that weaves through the fabric of humanity, connecting us all"

With this ethos, we've created a haven where music becomes a catalyst for transformation, understanding, and healing.

Music Therapy Hub was founded by Rodney Pollak in 2021. Rodney has been a 'Registered Music Therapist' since 2017, has a Masters of Music Therapy, certificate in 'Foundations of Integral Sound Healing' and a Bachelor of Psychology and Management Marketing. His ongoing passion for connecting people to their internal and external worlds through music and sound was an instigator in founding the company.
Through his experience in the commercial sector as well as working in health settings, Rodney observed the importance of staff wellbeing and how a cohesive team is paramount to an organisation's success. With his music therapy experience and commercial background, Rodney has developed music based interventions that support teams to connect, find balance, and a way to establish a sense health and wellness.

WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?
WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?
Humans are the only beings that can understand, process and engage with music. Most of us use music in our lives for motivation, celebration, to match our mood and trigger our memories.
Music therapy expands on this as it harnesses the cognitive processing of music and the relationship people have with music in order to create a change towards wellness.

Music therapy is an evidence-based therapeutic avenue facilitated by an accredited music therapist who is registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association. Music therapy uses personalised musical activities as a platform to achieve non-musical goals to improve one's health, functioning and well-being.
